Description
The obverse is glossy olive brown; the reverse a glossy medium chocolate. Covered with small nicks, none notable but too many to ignore, the best identifying marks are a short, dull scratch near the dentils right of star 9 and a rim nick over the second S in STATES. E-MDS, die state a. The fine die line through RIC in AMERICA is faint but visible. Tied for CC#5 of this rare variety in the Grellman census.
