Description

Glossy olive brown and steel. Just a few trivial marks including a small nick between the coronet and star 5 and a tiny rim nick over the first A in AMERICA. LDS. The die crack through the first three stars reaches down to the dentils below star 1, and the dentils on both sides are gone. The latest state seen for this variety. The surfaces are satiny and this cent has excellent eye appeal in spite of the darker than normal toning. At the lower end of the condition census for a variety that is unknown in mint state by EAC standards.
