Description
PCGS authenticated and graded XF 45+. Attractive light gray with subtle gold and blue toning with lighter gray on some devices giving a nice contrast. Well centered and nicely struck, free of notable marks. Raised die finish lines are seen on both sides. Excellent eye appeal all around on this superb example of Silver St. Patrick Farthing. Martin recorded four known examples, one in the Newman collection, one in the British Museum, one found in the ground graded Good, and this example.
