Description
NGC authenticated and graded MS 64 BN. Glossy light chocolate and steel browns. There are two minor nicks on the rim below the 4. The details around the ear are a bit blunted, common on this variety, thanks to debris/lubricant on the die. The stray 1 on the right edge of the ear is clearly visible as is the top of a stray 8 just right of the Y and the bottom of a badly misplaced 4 in the curl above the 5, earning the “Dartboard Obverse” moniker. LDS, die state c. Mint frost covers the fields and protected areas. Tied for CC#13 in the Grellman census
