Description
PCGS authenticated and graded MS 64 BN. Frosty light olive and tan with generous traces of faded mint red showing on both sides, especially the reverse. There are two spots of greenish verdigris on the obverse: one in the dentils at star 3 and another in the dentils under the 3. There are a few additional tiny specks of carbon on the obverse that do not distract. These spots were not enough to prevent the straight grade by PCGS and may be removeable, otherwise lustrous surfaces with nice eye appeal. EDS, die state a. The fine die lines from the dentils over the N in UNITED are clear and the repunching at the top of the 3 is bold. CC#6 in the Grellman census.
