Description
PCGS authenticated and graded MS 63 BN. Frosty medium brown and light chocolate with hints of mellowed mint red on both sides. There are a half dozen small rim nicks on the obverse and a small spot of fine carbon between the date and star 1, none of these marks is significant or distracting but there are too many to ignore. Otherwise this cent is choice, the surfaces are satiny and the eye appeal of this cent is excellent. E-MDS, die state b. Just a couple of the fine die lines from the dentils at star 1 are still visible but the stronger die lines at the inner curl are clear. CC#7 for the variety in the Grellman census.
