Description
PCGS authenticated and graded AU 58. Glossy medium brown with two small spots of reddish brown toning on the neck and a patch of shallow verdigris over NI in UNITED. LDS, die state c. The repunching inside the lower loops of the 8’s has been lapped off the die and the added line at the dentils left of star 4 is strong. Nicely struck with full radial lines in all the stars. Tied for CC#12 for the variety in the Grellman census. Comes with an impressive provenance.
