Description

PCGS authenticated and graded AU 55.  Glossy dark olive brown and chocolate with subtle overtones of bluish steel and hints of lighter tan toning faded down from mint color in a couple protected places. A tiny planchet fissure on the coronet over the left side of the I in LIBERTY and a small tick on the coronet over that B may help identify this cent. LDS, die state c, with extensive sinking on the reverse. The earlier die line from the right top of the O in ONE is gone. Smooth and nearly void of marks. CC#6 in the Grellman census.
