Description
PCGS authenticated and graded MS 65 RB. Beautiful original mint red mellowed slightly to light steel on some high points, most of the original mint red remaining. There is a tiny spot of shallow carbon in the field over star 2, otherwise free of notable marks. Typical strike for the variety, slightly weak along the upper edge of the coronet over LIB, on the lowest curl, and on the lower wreath. Grellman Die State b. Satiny cartwheel luster covers the surfaces. CC#1 in the Noyes census, his photo #30919, and CC#1 in the Grellman census. CAC certified.
