Description
PCGS authenticated and graded MS 63 BN. Highly lustrous bluish steel and light olive. There are a few light contact marks on the cheek, a few in the field before the face, a couple more over star 4, and a rim nick over the second S in STATES, but none of them catches your eye. MDS with the reverse rotated 35 degrees CCW. The lumps in the field before the face and the spike up from the top of the coronet are gone. The dentils are blurry but most are clearly visible. The surfaces are satiny and this cent has great eye appeal. CC#3 in the Noyes census, his photo #29455. Comes with a wonderful provenance.
