Description
PCGS authenticated and graded MS 63 BN. Lustrous light steel brown and tan with a faint fingerprint in the field before the portrait and tiny splashes of darker steel brown toning at stars 9-11. Traces of faded mint red show in protected areas on both sides. There are some tiny planchet fissures at star 1 extending to the adjacent 1, as struck; otherwise the planchet is satiny and smooth. Nicely struck MDS with flowlined fields and a tiny “Baby Finger Mouse” break on top of the head under the left point of star 8. Some call this state the “Minnie Mouse” and it would be easy to miss if you didn’t use a glass.
