Description
NGC authenticated and graded AU 53. Mostly deep dark brown with peeps of faded mint red along the left obverse dentils and cap, and hints of frosty olive around the wreath. There are a few minor bruises along the reverse rims, and dull nicks under L in LIBERTY and TE in STATES. Sharp details, smooth semi-glossy surfaces, LDS with a strong obverse die break from the upper dentils through E in LIBERTY and down through the middle hair. Head of 1794.
