PCGS authenticated and graded VF Details. Deer Head New Jersey Colonial Copper Coin struck over a 1787 Connecticut copper with portions of the old legends visible on both sides. Syd Martin believed the undertype to be a 1797 Miller 37.1-cc.1 variety. 123.1 grains.
