Description
NGC authenticated and graded AU Details. Golden brown and steel gray patina with areas of fine porosoty scattered around the peripheries of either side. A scarce variety noted for the straight plow beam with rounded ends on the plow handles. The only mark is a dig on the rim right of the plow at 4 o’clock. Often a variety found overstruck on Connecticut coppers, though this does not appear to be such an example. Struck slightly off center but all details and legends made the planchet.
