Description
PCGS authenticated and graded VF 25. Attractive lighter silver on the high points, deep gray in the fields, with hints of subtle blue toning. A rare variety, the 1991 ANS Exhibition of Massachusetts silver not including an example of one. There are a few sharper known examples, the two sharpest of which grade AU and XF but with issues, and the VF35 also in the Salmon collection is arguably the finest known, making this definitely among the Condition Census for the variety. Small planchet, 69.2 grains.
