Description
ANACS authenticated and graded EF 40. Criminally under graded by ANACS as it has the appearance of an UNC Pine Tree shilling. Attractive light silver-gray with gold and blue highlights on lustrous surfaces free of notable marks. An unusually round, smaller flan, perhaps from being clipped, there are hardly any outer beads visible and part of the legends on either side didn’t make the flan either. The reverse die breaks appear progressed enough to indicate a later die state, with the usual wavy S appearance from the roller press and die clashes visible under the tree. Excellent eye appeal and likely deserves another evaluation by a grading service.
