Noyes state A. Nicely toned brown with semi-reflective surfaces. Partial knife rim obverse 10 to 1 o’clock. Delicate cracks reverse: ribbon end to edge, end of stem to dentils, dentils thru “T” in UNITED to leaf point to stem, between “I” in UNITED and 1ST “S” at STATES, rim to stem, rim through “F” in OF to a leaf, serif crossing thru inside bottom upright of “A”, bottom of all Es defective. Obverse cracks: (arc cracks)-dentils-bottom of date-dentils, arc crack dentils over 7-star to star 12, another point of star 8 –star 7-passing star 6 ending in dentils at star 5.
