1800 S-205 R4 PCGS VF30 $ 1,250
Brown with a nicely detailed center. Some slightly softer strike K8 obverse and the corresponding portion of the reverse. Excellent eye appeal. This may be at the lower end of the expanded condition census for this variety.
1800 S-191 R3 PCGS VF20 $ 1,500
Medium brown with tan devices. Heavy die break on the reverse.
1801 S-221 R2 PCGS XF45 $ 5,500
Yellow tan with an almost brassy appearance, possibly cleaned at one time, but attractive. There are some minor field marks and a small nick to the left of Liberty’s hair ribbon. Very sharply struck for this variety which often comes with an uneven strike. This should rank in the condition census for the variety.
1801 S-216 R1 PCGS XF40 $ 1,450
Medium chocolate olive with glossy surfaces. Somewhat softer strike though this example is significantly stronger than the typical example of this variety.
