Choice frosty light brown with darker steel and chocolate brown toning on the highpoints. The surfaces are virtually flawless, a few very tiny planchet chips in the fields on the lower part of the obverse being the only notable defects. EDS.

Sharpness F12 with a dozen small pitmarks on the right side of the obverse. Lightly cleaned and retoned glossy steel brown and chocolate. The edge lettering is clear, but blundered reading, “ONE HUNDRED DOLLAR”.
1794 S-48 R5 VG10 STARRED REVERSE $24,500
Sharpness VF20 with light corrosion covering all but the highpoints, which are smooth, plus a half dozen shallow pitmarks on the upper half of the reverse. Sharply struck EDS with all the stars visible. Dark chocolate with light to medium brown toning covering the highpoints. The two-tone appearance accents the details and enhances the eye appeal of this important cent.
1795 S-78 R1 VF30+ PLAIN EDGE $ 2,750
Very attractive glossy light chocolate brown. Great surfaces and eye appeal. A minor planchet clip barely affects the dentils at the bottom of the reverse. A very nice example.
