Glossy light olive brown and tan with 10% slightly faded mint red, mostly on the obverse. There are two small spots of carbon at star 12, a tiny one in the dentils at star 3, and a small pit or shallow dig in the dentils at UN. The only contact mark of any note is a tiny rim nick at T in UNITED. MDS die state d, with fine die cracks through the ribbon and UNITE plus another through RICA. The repunching at the right base of the second 8 remains sharp and the fine die polishing lines are clear. Tied for CC#5 in the Grellman census. DWH #2243.
