1848 N-24 R5- AU58               $1300

Lustrous medium brown and chocolate. Just the barest hint of rub on the highest points from mint state. A few microscopic planchet voids are scattered about the obverse, strongest on the cheek and in the field right of star 2. The only signs of contact are a very tiny tick on the rim under the 1 and another below the stem tip. M-LDS, die state c. The die line from the right top of the O in ONE is gone but the vertical line inside the N in CENT is still clear. CC#4 in the Grellman census. DWH #2099.
